The #Cowboys have agreed to terms with former #Falcons safety Keanu Neal on a one-year, $5 million deal, per source.

On Saturday news broke that safety Keanu Neal and the Cowboys agreed to a 1 year, $5 million deal. Dallas needed to address safety in the offseason and it looks like they chipped away at that problem with Neal.

The Cowboys had competition with the Jets for Neal’s services who both wanted him to also play Linebacker in passing situations. While Neal is more of a box safety, rumors have been swirling between the Boys and free agent safety Malik Hooker who had his 5th year option declined by the Colts due to past injury issues.

When on the field Hooker plays a great center field, having 7ints in 35 games. To be honest, anythings an upgrade in the secondary after having to watch last years unit give up big play after big play.
